
Escalation Policies:
1. What is an escalation policy?
Escalation policy defines the notification sequence. i.e., who should be notified first, how long to wait until he acknowledges, and whom to notify next if the first user fails to acknowledge within that time.
2. How many levels of escalation can I configure?
You can add upto 5 levels of escalation.
3. Can I add choose to nothing immediately after an alert is generated?
Yes, you can click 'Do nothing' and choose not to be notified immediately. However, in the first level of escalation, you can choose who should be notified.
4. Can I select schedules as recipient in escalation policy?
Yes. You can select contacts, schedules, and outbound apps as recipients in an escalation policy.
5. Can I choose to notify the on-call person of the Next Shift?
Yes. AlarmsOne allows you to select the on-call technicians of the current shift and also the next shift of a Schedule.
